So you have a pile of things to do, and the thought of it overwhelms you. With ADHD, the brain tends to get overloaded with too many things running through it, leading to paralysis. So before you start diving into your to-do list, figure out what you need to prioritize first. Be your own project manager. Learn to prioritize the most important and urgent items first, schedule the things that aren't urgent, and eliminate the things that you don't need to do or delegate if you can.
Pause for a second and ask yourself out loud, "what do I need to do right now?" Deep down inside, you know the answer. By stating it out loud, you're holding yourself accountable and acknowledging what requires your immediate attention. Your top priority will pop out at you.
